Project Description
Sweet, but not too sweet, these bite-sized snacks are delicious and are really good for you too!
I bought a bag of black sesame seeds, I love black sesame seeds. I love dessert, I decided to make a dessert with sesame seeds.
Just like that these marvelous treats were born. I actually had something similar at a Persian restaurant once, it had wonderful hints of cinnamon, cardamom, and sesame. So, naturally, I wanted to come up with my own version.
One of the best parts about these treats is that each ingredient offers a different health benefit. Some of the most important being:
Sesame Seeds – loaded with calcium (more than dairy), and contain tryptophan which helps your brain get to sleep better!
Cocoa Powder – magnesium-rich and full of antioxidants, this power food helps soothe your muscles.
Walnuts – shaped like brains, good for your brain! Really high in Omega-3.
It’s always a treat when the treat you’re eating is good for you too 😉
